Network Authentication - Network Password Sync

To maintain network security, you may be prompted to enter your computer password for authentication. This occurs automatically when your system hasn't synced in over 7 days, or when IT support needs to synchronize your credentials.

This notification appears when your computer hasn't fully synchronized with the network in over 7 days. When this occurs, our platform generates an authentication prompt that requires your action to complete the sync.

When prompted, simply enter the password you use to log into your computer and click "OK".

Important Notes

  1. Completing this sync is required to maintain network access
  2. Your password remains secure — it's encrypted in transit and never stored
REMINDER:

  • Never share your password with anyone, including IT staff
  • Don't save passwords in messaging apps (Teams/Slack) or email (Outlook)
  • When IT requires elevated system access, you'll authenticate through a secure credential storage prompt that encrypts your password — the IT technician never sees or has access to your actual password
