Creating a Shortcut to a Mapped Drive

In some instances, you may want a shortcut to your mapped drive placed on your desktop. The steps below will walk you through the process.

  1. Begin by finding the mapped drive for which you want to create a shortcut
  2. Right-click on the mapped drive you want to create a shortcut to and select "Create Shortcut"
  3. Once selected, choose "Yes" to place a shortcut on your desktop
