Checking your Device Warranty

When you purchase equipment from The IT Experience, we track its warranty coverage for you — so you never have to dig through paperwork to find out whether a device is still covered. Our Warranty Lookup site lets you check that coverage yourself, any time, in just a few seconds:

What You'll Need

Just your device's service tag — the short code printed on the label on the bottom or back of the device. On Dell equipment it's 7 characters of letters and numbers (for example, G2F75Q2). The numeric Express Service Code on the same label works too — you can enter either one.

Not sure where to look? See our guide: Locating your Computer Service Tag.

How to Check Your Warranty

  1. Go to warranty.theitexperience.com.
  2. Type your serial number or service tag into the lookup box.
  3. Click Check Warranty.

Your result appears right below the form — no sign-in and no ticket needed.

Checking the same device often? Bookmark https://warranty.theitexperience.com/?s=YOURTAG (replace YOURTAG with your service tag) and the result loads automatically.

Understanding Your Result

  • Active — the device is covered. You'll see the date coverage runs through and how much time is remaining.
  • Expires Soon — still covered, but the end date is approaching. This is a good time to reach out about renewal or replacement options.
  • Expired — coverage has ended. You'll see the date it ended and how long ago, along with a link to contact us about next steps.
  • Disposal notice — if the device was retired through our secure asset-disposition process, the lookup shows a disposal confirmation with its DCA reference number instead of warranty details.
The lookup shows coverage status only — it never displays personal or account information.

What You Can Look Up Today

Warranty lookup currently supports desktops and laptops. All other equipment purchased from The IT Experience — network equipment, printers, peripherals, and so on — requires a quick review by our team at this time. Submit a request and we'll check the coverage for you:

Submit a Warranty Lookup Request

That link pre-fills the request for you — just tell us the equipment type and serial number in the "How can we help?" box, and we'll get back to you with the coverage details.

If Your Device Isn't Found

Warranty Lookup covers products purchased directly from The IT Experience. If your desktop or laptop isn't showing up — or you're not sure where it was purchased — use the same Warranty Lookup Request link and we'll sort it out. The lookup page also offers this link automatically whenever a device isn't found.
