Hardware Catalog & Lead Times

To make it easy to request the right equipment with predictable timing, we keep a standard hardware catalog of common items along with their typical lead times. This article lists those items, explains shipping and on-site installation timing, and outlines what happens to equipment you're replacing.

To submit a request, see Submitting a Hardware or Software Request.

Standard Hardware Catalog

The following items are available through the standard hardware request form, with typical lead times listed for each:

  • Keyboard & Mouse (Wireless Combo) — 1–3 business days
  • Monitor (24") — 1–3 business days
  • Notebook 14.1" — Preconfigured — 1–3 business days
  • Notebook 15.6" — Preconfigured — 1–3 business days
  • Notebook Docking Station — 1–3 business days
  • Desktop Computer — Preconfigured — 1–3 business days
  • Printer / Scanner — 3–5 business days
  • Accessory — Laptop Charger — 1–3 business days
  • Accessory — Other — varies, depending on item availability
  • Orders for certain accessories received by 12:00 PM will ship the same business day. Orders for monitors, laptops, desktops, printers, and scanners will normally ship the next business day. Final delivery is dependent on vendor and carrier.

    Shipment vs. On-Site Installation

When submitting a hardware request, you'll be asked to choose Hardware Shipment or Hardware Installation.

    Hardware Shipment

The equipment is shipped directly to the address you provide. You unbox and connect the equipment, and we can assist with setup remotely if needed.

This is the fastest option and is recommended whenever the equipment is needed quickly or when no on-site visit is required.

    Hardware Installation

Selecting Hardware Installation creates a dispatch for an on-site installation by one of our technicians.

Requests for on-site installation may take up to 4–6 business days to schedule. If equipment is needed quickly, select Hardware Shipment instead and we'll assist you remotely once the equipment arrives.

    Replacing Existing Equipment

If you are replacing a current accessory or device, we ask that the equipment being replaced is returned to us so it can be properly decommissioned and recycled. There are two ways to return it:

  • Scheduled visit pickup — if your business has scheduled on-site visits, leave the device for pickup during our next visit.
  • Return shipping label — if your business does not have scheduled visits, you may request a return shipping label to send the device or accessory back to us.
To request a return shipping label, use the dedicated request form: https://theitexperience.com/supportrequest?type=returnlabel&step=2

Requests for return shipping labels will be billed back to your business unit.

Need Something Not in the Catalog?

If you need an item not listed above (specialty accessories, alternative form factors, additional peripherals), select Accessory — Other on the request form and describe what you need in the Business Justification field. Lead time will depend on item availability and procurement.
