You should not need a technical support ticket just to grab last month’s invoice PDF. This page explains how to sign in to your client billing portal, find and download invoices and estimates, update who receives billing notices, and know when to loop in a human.
The 30-second version
- Open https://billing.theitexperience.com/portal/theitexperience/login and sign in with the email address on your billing account.
- Go to Invoices (the label may also read Billing, Transactions, or Billing history).
- Open the invoice you need → Download PDF.
- Bookmark the portal so accounts payable (AP) or your office manager can find it next month without hunting.
- If you cannot sign in, need a new billing contact, or the amount looks wrong — contact us (see When to ticket vs self-serve). Do not share portal passwords around the office.
https://billing.theitexperience.com/portal/theitexperience/login in a shared browser favorites folder labeled “IT Experience — billing portal,” not buried in someone’s personal bookmarks only. What the portal is for
Your dedicated client portal is the one place to:
| You want to… | Portal? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| View open or paid invoices | Yes | Download PDF for your books |
| View estimates / quotes | Yes | Hardware, projects, agreement changes |
| See subscriptions / agreements | Usually read-only | Confirms what renews; seat/service changes still go through us |
| Update payment method (card/ACH) | Maybe | Only if your portal shows that control — otherwise ask us |
| Change who gets billing emails | Ask us | We update the billing contact / portal user |
| Fix Outlook, VPN, a printer, MFA | No | Use support request |
How to sign in
First time / request access
Not everyone in the company has a portal login. Typical users are owners, office managers, or accounts payable — not every staff mailbox.
If you need access and do not have a login yet:
- Submit a support request, or email [email protected], or call (603) 505-4290.
- Ask for client portal / billing portal access.
- Include: company name, the person’s name, and the email address that should receive the invite.
- Wait for the invite or confirmation before guessing passwords.
Sign in (you already have access)
- Browse to https://billing.theitexperience.com/portal/theitexperience/login.
- Sign in with the billing email for your account (often the address that receives invoices — not necessarily your day-to-day work mailbox).
- Complete any verification the portal asks for.
- Bookmark the page after a successful sign-in.
Forgot password
- On the portal login page, use the Forgot password (or similar) link before opening a ticket.
- Check spam/junk for the reset message — subject lines vary by portal product.
- Set a new password you will not reuse for Microsoft 365 or banking.
- If the reset email never arrives, or the account is locked, contact us with your company name and the email you are trying — we will confirm the portal user exists and is pointed at the right person.
ap@… or owner address while the person searching uses a personal Gmail. Confirm which address is on the billing account before resetting passwords all afternoon.Find and download invoices
- After sign-in, open Invoices, Billing, Billing history, or Transactions (wording depends on the portal).
- Find the invoice by date or invoice number.
- Open the invoice detail.
- Choose Download PDF / Print / Export (exact control name varies).
- Save the PDF where your bookkeeper expects it (Downloads is fine; then file it in your AP folder).
Estimates, subscriptions, and related items
- Estimates — open quotes for hardware, projects, or agreement changes. Accepting an estimate may be in-portal or by reply; follow the on-screen path, or ask us if the button is missing.
- Subscriptions / agreements — a picture of what renews. Changes to seats, services, or terms still go through your account contact and us; the portal shows the picture and does not always let every user edit it.
- Payment methods — if you see a clear Payment method / Update card control, you may update it there. If you do not see one, do not dig through settings hoping something appears — email or call us and we will handle the update with you.
Update billing contact
When someone leaves, or AP takes over from an owner:
- Contact us from a known company address (or have an existing billing contact do it):
- Support request
- Email: [email protected]
- Phone: (603) 505-4290
- Tell us: company name, old contact (if known), new person’s name and email, and whether they should receive invoice emails, portal login, or both.
- We will send an invite or update the portal user and billing notice list.
- After the change, the new contact should bookmark https://billing.theitexperience.com/portal/theitexperience/login and confirm they can download a recent invoice.
When to ticket vs self-serve
Use this table so simple PDF grabs stay out of the tech queue — and real billing questions still reach a human quickly.
| Situation | Self-serve in portal | Contact us |
|---|---|---|
| Download last month’s invoice PDF | Yes | — |
| Re-download an older paid invoice | Yes | If it is missing from the list |
| Forgot portal password | Try Forgot password first | If reset email never arrives |
| Need a new portal user / billing CC | — | Yes |
| Amount, tax, or line items look wrong | Download PDF for reference | Yes — include invoice # |
| Want to change seats / services | View subscriptions if shown | Yes — agreement change |
| Payment method update (no button on screen) | — | Yes |
| Outlook / VPN / printer / MFA issue | — | Yes — IT support, not billing |
| “Urgent pay by gift card / crypto / new wire” email | Never pay that way | Treat as suspicious — see Related |

Still stuck?
- Confirm you are using https://billing.theitexperience.com/portal/theitexperience/login (bookmark it).
- Confirm the billing email, not a personal alias.
- Try Forgot password once and wait a few minutes (check spam).

We would rather reset or re-invite the right person than have AP blocked at month-end.
