VPN - Installing the CloudVPN Agent

In order to access network resources while outside of an office, a VPN client must be installed and configured.

What the client is called on your computer: our CloudVPN service is delivered by the LogMeIn Hamachi client — on your computer, the icon and application are labeled "Hamachi" or "LogMeIn Hamachi". CloudVPN and Hamachi refer to the same thing throughout these guides.

Checking if VPN is Installed

In the event you are unable to access network resources while working remote, check here to ensure your VPN client is installed and configured:

  1. Look for the Hamachi (LogMeIn) icon in your system tray (near the clock on the taskbar)
  2. Click the ^ arrow to show hidden icons if you don't see it immediately
  3. If the icon is present, your VPN client is installed

If VPN is Not Installed

If you do not see the VPN client icon or the application is not installed on your computer:

  1. Submit a support request
  2. Request VPN client installation
  3. Our team will install and configure the client remotely
  4. Once installed, you will receive a "Network Access" shortcut on your desktop
The VPN client is automatically deployed to managed computers. If you recently received a new computer, the VPN client may already be scheduled for installation.
